Up close with a young croc on an evening boat cruise
Evening sunset on the huge dambo that our new loop runs down. We are really happy to be continually developing and assisting in the National Park.
A big curio shop re-stock this month.
One morning the mist and sunrise was achingly beautiful. I jumped in the boat after the guests left on an early game drive to try and document it.
More of one of the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen.
The artist at work!
Moonlight rapids view.
Dambo by the lodge from the air. No drones used in this one!
More lodge scenery from the air
Sunset this time - again on the new Kaingu loop in the Park
With June comes the real start of out of camp dining. Tempted?
Staff warm up!!!
These rapids are right next to where we often do dinners out.
The dining spot is to the left under the trees.
More aerial stuff. As I say - no drones used!
We took delivery of a fantastic new 'rubber duck'. A fun thing indeed.
And we had a brief visit from four skimmers... hopefully they are back to stay soon.
And another rare (for us here) visitor was a small party of knob-billed ducks.
As the river drops the birdlife starts to seriously increase. Open billed storks are now plentiful.
Cold morning means hippos desperate for some sun (and the opportunity to catch them bolting!)
JohnD catching up with Wild dogs
Dennis' daughter assisting in the kitchen and with some cultural talks!
Nyambanza and Julia doing some Sunday morning rock climbing!
John ran into the Shishamba cups doing a bit of tree climbing.
More of the Shishamba cubs
Then we had an amazing sighting behind the lodge - Cheetah!! Tow males spent the day in the dambos around the lodge.
More GMA side Cheetah
More GMA side Cheetah
And again! GMA Cheetah
